Pacific Biosciences Research Center
We’re exploring the Pacific Biosciences Research Center (PBRC) at UH Mānoa. We visit the Kewalo Marine Lab, the Isabella Aiona Abbott Life Sciences Building, the Békésy Laboratory of Neurobiology, the Biomedical Sciences Building, and the Selenium Research Laboratory to learn about PBRC faculty and student research—on microbes, copepods, mosquitos, and mice — and how this research can improve ocean health, fight human diseases, and protect native birds!
