Andrew McInnis is the coastal resource extension specialist for the University of Hawai‘i Sea Grant College Program and is based in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI). As part of his position, Andrew will be teaching part time at the College of the Marshall Islands and is collaborating with PacIOOS on oceanographic data collection. Additionally, Andrew will be working with communities, government, and NGOs on a wide range of marine and coastal resource projects.

Over the past decade, Andrew has worked in research, outreach, and conservation projects throughout Latin America and the Pacific. Most recently, he worked for the University of Guam on a variety of coral reef and fishery research projects throughout Micronesia.
