Morgan Mamizuka is the Volunteer Program Coordinator for the University of Hawai‘i Sea Grant College Program’s (UH Sea Grant) Hanauma Bay Education Program (HBEP). She is responsible for recruiting, educating and maintaining a large group of volunteer docents who are responsive and supportive of HBEP’s mission of enhancing appreciation and promoting understanding and stewardship of Hawai‘i’s marine environment through public education.

Mamizuka earned her bachelor of science degree in agriculture from the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo. She was hired by UH Sea Grant in 2006 as a summer intern with HBEP, while participating in the science-based University of Hawai‘i-Hawaiian Internship Program. At the conclusion of her internship, she was asked to stay on as an Education Assistant with HBEP until she was hired as Volunteer Program Coordinator in 2008.
