On Friday, February 23, 2018 Hawai‘i Sea Grant’s Center for Integrated Science, Knowledge, and Culture (now Center for Integrated Knowledge Systems) hosted an evening of education and entertainment! Featuring keynote speaker Sir Tīmoti Kāretu, a champion of language and culture revitalization for his native Māori and a mentor in revitalization movements here in Hawaiʻi and around the world. Panel discussion included Tusi Avegalio, Kaliko Baker, Kalehua Krug, and Kalei Nuʻuhiwa, and others, moderated by Rosie Alegado.
