This song was composed for the Symphony of the Hawaiʻi Seas 2025 curriculum for students. Please ask permission before teaching/using this hula outside Symphony of the Hawaiʻi Seas curriculum. Song text honors mele that are listed in footnotes. Accompanying hula received permission from Dr. Pualani Kanakaʻole Kanahele to draw from Ua Hānau a Kana (Ia Moku Kele Kahiki).
