About the Author:
Keri Kodama was born in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, and grew up with a love for earth science. After graduating from Hawai‘i Baptist Academy in 2010, she went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in math and later a doctorate in climate science. She has written and illustrated previous ‘Io Brothers books about hurricane preparedness, sea-level rise, and improving food security. In her free time, she enjoys creative writing, drawing and painting, reading, and playing with her dog Mele.
