We are interested in issues at the intersection of science and social justice. We are driven to understand and address problems leading to the degradation of fisheries and the communities that rely on them. Our interdisciplinary extension program centers on education, collaboration, communication, and co-production with fishers, communities, and multi-sector partners in the Pacific Islands to support sustainable fisheries management that is adaptable, effective, and rooted in local Indigenous expertise.
