Ellie Jones conducts water quality monitoring as a graduate research assistant in the Sustainable Fisheries Graduate Program, bringing knowledge from being a Water Quality Coordinator with the Division of Aquatic Resources. She investigates linkages between water quality and aquatic resource condition to determine how we can improve our nearshore ecosystems through holistic watershed-based management. She is passionate about including fishers in management discussions and believes compassionate communication is the best way to achieve collaborative management goals.
