Dingyi Liu created the Puʻuloa project’s GIS tool and storymap as a graduate research assistant. He worked with the team examining how historical land-use changes in the past 200 years have shaped environmental and community impacts in the Puʻuloa (Pearl Harbor) area.

He now supports research and training with Hawaiʻi’s National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC).
