Lauryn Hansen researches management and policy around Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs) as a E. Gordon Grau Fellow. She was also an Ocean and Coastal Health Project Manager for the Nalley Lab supporting the Puʻuloa and Ciguatera projects.

She is interested in how environmental contamination affects community and ocean health in the Pacific. Her work investigates how we manage and respond to contamination risks while also considering the positive relationships between people and place. She hopes to support equitable research and science communication.
