Kealiʻi Thoene serves as the Moku Resilience Stewardship Coordinator for the moku of Kohala on Hawaiʻi Island. As an extension agent for the University of Hawaiʻi Sea Grant College Program, he specializes in resilient populations and economies. His work focuses on public engagement and outreach, project management, holistic environmental stewardship, capacity building and knowledge sharing, and policy backing for the moku of Kohala.
