Harmony is a Climate Adaptation Postdoctoral Fellow for the Pacific Island Climate Adaptation Science Center. She is responsible for investigating how and why non-endemic species ranges are shifting in the Pacific, and the role of weather limitation and change in Hawaiʻi and the Mariana Islands. She also serves on the steering committee for the Pacific Drought Knowledge Exchange, analyzing how scenario planning can be used to inform managers in Hawaiʻi and the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands (USAPI).

Born and raised in Chuuk in the Federated States of Micronesia, Harmony’s past and present research focuses on addressing knowledge gaps in our understanding of island ecosystems, populations, and weather variability in the USAPI.
