August 2018 Staff Meeting

Mark your calendars, the next Joint WRRC-Sea Grant Faculty and Staff Meeting will take place on
Tuesday, August 21 in HIG 210.

Agenda

Summary:
The Hawai‘i Sea Grant/Water Resources Research Center administration will provide programmatic
updates at our August staff meeting. There are also presentations by the new Acting Director of the
Institute for Hawaiian Language Research and Training, Kaiwipuni “Punihei” Lipe, and by selected
extension faculty and staff. After lunch, we will walk over to the new net zero Flexible Response to
Ongoing Growth (FROG) classroom at the College of Education where Eileen Peppard will give us a
tour/presentation and where we will finish up the meeting for the rest of the afternoon.

Meeting Goal:
Inform faculty and staff about relevant programmatic, local, regional, and national Sea Grant/WRRC
activities.
