Blogging about all things Sea Grant

Welcome to our new Hawaiʻi Sea Grant blog! We plan to offer new content here every month, all associated with Hawaiʻi Sea Grant activities or topics and issues on which we focus our efforts. There will be stories from graduate fellows on their research projects, descriptions of recent or ongoing extension work across the Hawaiian Islands and the Pacific Basin, thought pieces on important issues of the day, profiles of past graduate fellows describing where they are today, and more. So stay tuned, bookmark the landing page, and join us regularly for our Hawaiʻi Sea Grant Blog.

Aloha!

Staff members pull plants amongst a tropical forest setting
Hawaiʻi Sea Grant staff help with Mānoa Stream restoration by pulling invasive plants along the stream bank. The volunteer work was part of a day-long, all-staff field trip exploring the elements of the Mānoa watershed and its influence on the Waikīkī coastline.
